Many people especially in East Asia Region believe in the energy spread by Feng Shui. So does the owner of this exclusive house in Bukit Timah, Singapore. A modern and eco-friendly house designed by Ong & Ong architects was built in a spacious land. As we can see from the pictures, it is located in the middle of a very large green lawn. Let’s take a look at this cozy private residence.
If you live in Singapore, spend most of your life in the core of its super busy business activities, then having a comfortable house is a must. It would be a dream of every Singaporean to have a house that offers them a cozy, relax, fresh and peaceful atmosphere. This JKC 1 House is a perfect example which accommodates all of those needs. Look at that beautiful pool outside. Surrounds with green lawn of the front yard, that pool becomes a great deal of the house. At the facade, you will see no windows, just this big glass door idely opened so the sunbeams and the fresh air coul enter the whole house freely. That concept may be a result of the Feng Shui law. To the living area, you will cross a patio made of wood, then you will see a super cozy living room with library on the side of the wall.
The library was separated by a wooden staircase that brings us to the second floor. The are several bedrooms up there. The owner puts not too many furnitures. They keep it simple, clean and chic. The white, beige and brown colors cover almost all parts of the house start from the wall, floor, and furnitures. In order to balancing this domination, some green plantations are also being placed inside the house. You will also find a box of pebbles as the ground of a black spiral staircase on the second floor. It directs us to the roof top. Well we finally find another nice spot in this house. On the roof top, the owner usually meet up with friends and family. Here they can also enjoy the green view and fresh air generously. So, did this house ignite any wild imagination of yours?
